We endeavour to provide a 24-hour telephone service.

We encourage anyone in need of a listening ear to call us on 01752 666777-no problem is too great or too small. It is of no consequence whatever your faith or if you have none at all.

All of our listeners have attended a recognised Acorn Listening Course and are also required to undertake further in house training on a regular basis.

COUNSELLING BY APPOINTMENT - 01752 664243

We are able to offer a high quality counselling service covering a very wide range of issues. Our counsellors either hold, or are working towards a Counselling Diploma and operate under British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC) guidelines.

If you think you might benefit from some counselling pease call our office on 01752 664243 and speak to Kathryn. Normal office hours are 9.30-1pm weekdays (Answer phone at all other times.) Alternatively use our enquiry form on this website to contact us directly.

Whilst there is no set charge for this service, clients are encouraged to make a donation.

PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

We run a parent and toddler group each Tuesday morning during term time. The group meets at the Crossline building in Grenville Road where both indoor and garden play activities are enjoyed.

All the volunteer helpers who are involved in this work have undergone in house training.

This group aims to provide a ‘safe haven’ for parents seeking a friendly welcome in a family atmosphere. We provide a well resourced and supervised play area, garden, craft activities and music. It’s a great place to have fun and make some new friends.
